1. Requirements:
1. General requirements:
• Participants must perform a classic salon haircut on medium-length hair, without being tied to a specific shape (square, bob, cascade, etc.).
• The haircut must be commercially attractive, easy to care for and suitable for everyday wear.
• The use of various classic techniques is allowed to achieve smooth transitions and soft lines.
• The use of creative and avant-garde elements, such as torn ends, pronounced asymmetrical lines or segmented shapes, is prohibited.
 
2. Requirements for performing the haircut:
• The initial length of the model's hair does not matter, but participants must cut at least 5 cm from the initial length.
• The final length of the hair after the haircut should not exceed the level of the shoulder blades and be shorter than the level of the chin.
• The model's hair after the haircut should harmoniously emphasize the shape of the face.
• The use of styling should be minimal so that the judges can assess the accuracy of the cut and the quality of the hair extensions.
• The use of medium-hold hairspray is allowed to accentuate individual strands and details of the haircut.
 
3. Requirements for the model:
• The model must enter the field with cleanly washed, moistened hairspray
combed back.
• The hair must not be previously cut or styled.
• A printed photograph of the model at the workplace
(A4 format) is required, which clearly demonstrates the initial length and condition of the hair before the haircut begins.
• Hair color must be done in a modern commercial style. Bright neon colors and creative color sprays are prohibited.
 
2. Penalty points:
• Participants who do not comply with the requirements (for example, using prohibited tools, products from other brands, excessive styling, lack of a printed photo of the model) will receive penalty points.
 
3. Tools and materials:
• It is allowed to use any classic haircutting tools: scissors, thinning shears, edging machine.
• For styling, it is allowed to use a hairdryer and brush.
• The minimum number of styling products is exclusively from Multicolor brands (mousses, foams, medium-hold varnish).
• The use of irons, curling irons and other hot curling tools is prohibited.
• The use of color sprays, hair extensions and decorative elements is prohibited.
 
4. Evaluation criteria:
• Execution technique: accuracy of cut, purity of lines, correct use of selected techniques.
• Haircut shape: symmetry, smooth transitions, harmony of lines.
• Commercial appeal: the haircut should look modern, stylish and suitable for everyday use.
• Overall image: integrity, compliance with the model's face type.
• Preservation of hair quality: the hair should remain healthy, shiny and well-groomed after the haircut is completed, without excessive use of styling.
